Our software development team is customer centric, providing agile, innovative solutions to complex geospatial data needs.
Server side work is mostly done in C# using the ASP.NET framework. Client side work requires expertise in DHTML, AJAX, CSS, JavaScript, and/or Flex / Flash. A solid understanding of browser architecture, Microsoft and competitive DOMs, and web security issues are helpful.
Some positions also require strong database skills. If you've had experience with geospatial concepts and applications like ArcGIS Server or MapServer you'll be up to speed faster.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Process and analyze imagery including orthorectification, multi-source integration, classification and change detection
• Work closely with key customers to deliver industry leading visual and analytic products
• Work as part of a team to architect, design and implement computational and cost effective solutions for our clients |
Required Skills:
| |
• B.S. in Remote Sensing or Natural Science or post-grad training/certification (COGS BCIT etc.) or equivalent experience
• 2+ years image processing experience using a Geomatics software package such as PCI, ERDAS Imagine, or SOCET Set. PCI Preferred.
• Creative problem solving skills and a strong work ethic
• Solid understanding of Geographic principles and experience with GIS
• Self-directed learner, driven to provide the best customer experience possible

Desired Experience:

• Automated image processing techniques, specifically using scripting languages such as Python, PERL, and PCI (EASI) or other programming languages
• Computing and network principles
• ESRI tools such as ArcMap and others.
• Prioritizing and managing multiple projects simultaneously |
